One of our three hosted Spay Neuter programs
We believe in preventing animals from being born unwanted, dieing in shelters, abandoned or neglected because there are no homes to go too. This very easy and proven prevention called Spay and Neuter, it belongs at the very heart of pet ownership / feral guardianship, shelter and rescue care. This will pave way for those homeless a better chance at becoming a chosen family companion, prevent more unwanted births, add a healthier life for the animal. By spaying / Neutering you also help lower the risk of becoming lost by stopping their breeding cycles as they roam to look for a mate, reduce behavior problems such as bites, marking, mood swings and other problems / damage that result in many animals becoming homeless or put in a kill shelter. This simple operation offers so much promise, to not give this gift to your pet would be a travesty when there is so much happiness to gain. Below is information on one of three programs that we host to help those families and care providers who would like to be wonderful pet owners and guardians in our animal communities.
Below is one of our awsome friends whom we host spay and neuter clinics for, families in need are able to get affordable quality spay and neuter for their beloved companions. Although Petfix is both dog and cats, We (The Weiner Brigade ) host for dogs and puppies only in our area and offer a seperate program for most cats.

Looking in the Petfix mobile unit
Just two of the fantastic vets who have assisted spays and neuters for Trumbull County and NE Ohio dogs these last few months. The unit is equipt with pre surgical kennels, these kennels will also be where your will begin to wake up post surgical. Once he or she is coming around, they will be brought back to us in building where we are hosting the clinic. Here they will continue to be watched close as they wake up more and are readied to be picked up by their owners and care givers. At discharge, we will go over instructions and how to care for your companion as they heal, send you home with pain meds for 3 days and go home instructions.
